The final installment of ACT-Now compliance training for 2025 is here! The Q3 ACT-Now training bundle consists of the following courses that will appear on people’s training plans with a due date of Friday, Oct. 31:
Acceptable Use of SAS Systems and Networks (ACT-Now) – Assigned to all employees and contingent workers (including interns and contractors)
- Information security depends on the habits of every member of the SAS workforce, including our employees and third-party workers. The Acceptable Use Policy for SAS Systems and Technology outlines the acceptable use of computing technology at SAS. These rules are in place to protect SAS, SAS' workforce, and our customers worldwide. In this course, you will learn how you can help ensure that SAS systems and networks, and the data they protect, are kept secure. This course will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
No Side Agreements (Q3 2025) – Assigned to targeted employees of certain job families and managers
- In this course, we look at the definition of side agreements; the SAS policy on them; possible consequences; and side agreement examples so that you can avoid committing the error of entering into such an agreement. All employees at SAS engage in business activities and must be familiar with what a side letter is and how to avoid it. The course material can be completed in approximately 20 minutes.
Look for emails from SAS-LMS@SAS.COM or check your My Plan page for information on your available courses. All assigned compliance training courses are required and must be completed by Oct. 31.
