This paper presents a practical approach to predicting and managing reliability during the system design phase. The structure is defined through a block diagram, and JMP is used to apply component-specific reliability models to create serial, parallel, and hybrid Reliability Block Diagram (RBD) structures and conduct RBD analysis.
Based on the analysis results, we introduce the possibility of identifying factors that lower reliability and deriving improvement measures, thereby contributing to structural design and decision-making support for achieving target reliability.
