AI Transformation (AX), which integrates AI technology and domain domains, is becoming a key challenge across all industries. Accordingly, AI technology is rapidly evolving beyond general-purpose models to develop "AI agents (Vertical AI Agents) specialized for specific industry domains." Analyzing reliability data in the product development process, in particular, is a challenging task requiring both statistical expertise and domain knowledge. This presentation examines recent trends in AI and AI agents and presents a case study demonstrating the potential for developing AI agents optimized for reliability analysis by combining the language and reasoning capabilities of general-purpose generative AI (LLM) with the exploration, analysis, and problem-solving capabilities of JMP.
