The question about saving a Crow-AMSAA model out of the reliability platform was asked by a customer today. Is this possible? I tried to find to do it myself but could not find "Save Formula" button. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
There's not a way to save the function directly to the data table from the Reliability Growth platform; however, it's not difficult to create the function manually using a column formula. The intensity function for a Crow-AMSAA is:
v(time) = lambda*beta*time^(beta-1)
After fitting the model in Reliability Growth, just take the parameter estimates for lambda and beta, and plug them into the column formula.
