EnergyWiz, Inc. manufactures and sells automotive and industrial storage batteries and related power supply equipment, providing end-to-end energy storage solutions from design to installation and maintenance. In the company's power supply division, a data-driven corporate culture has been fostered by non-analytics experts ("JMP beginners") who analyze and share sales data and use the results to inform specific on-site decision-making. In-house training utilizes JMP web-based learning materials and the online statistics course "STIPS," starting analysis from an awareness of on-site issues and hypotheses without relying on specialized departments. Marketing policies are discussed using visual methods, such as mapping the location of specific facilities and creating bubble charts of customer inquiry data, and strategies are considered based on customer classification. JMP's interactive usability promotes trial and error in the field, and the use of data as a common language among non-experts, including sales and management, contributes to understanding the current situation and accelerating decision-making. We hope to share this concrete example of "data-driven on-site" application and its practical application in companies with those who share similar challenges and interests.
