Setting Sigma (other than long range) in capability analysis

I had a customer question today about looking at short term sigma in capability analysis.  The only way I have found to do this is to run a distribution on a column that does not have spec limits already set.  When I do that I get a window that gives me the option to look at a specific sigma, moving range and/or short term sigma.  When spec limits are already set in the column JMP defaults to long term sigma and does not give the options for the other sigma settings.  Also I was not able to find a way to do this in capability analysis under quality in process.

Does anyone have a solution short of sending him the capability analysis add-in?

Have you looked at the control chart platform with capability checked? In this case for IR charts you get long term sigma capability as well as control chart sigma.
