The EMEA Sales and Marketing Teams came together in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, also known as the “Venice of the North” for its extensive network of canals, for the H2 Kick-Off Meeting. It was a great chance to meet in person, share ideas, and learn from each other.
Success stories

The DACH T1 team – Jessica Bechtel (@JessicaBechtel), Christian Waldbuesser (@C_Waldbuesser), and Jonas Rinne (@Jonas_Rinne) – told the story of BioNTech. The German biotech company became famous for its COVID-19 vaccine and is now focused on cancer research. Jessica and Christian showed how persistence, regular outreach, and marketing events helped bring JMP back into BioNTech’s labs as the key R&D tool.
The Nordics team shared their recent JMP Live win. Todd Hoffmann (@ToddHoffman) pointed out that JMP Live isn’t just for big companies: “It’s a great opportunity for smaller accounts as well.”
Celebrating milestones
We also celebrated some special moments:
Updates from Global Teams
Guests from Cary joined us with updates on the JMP 19 launch, digital marketing, and the academic team. As Todd said: “We were fortunate to have support from our global teams … fostering collaboration between EMEA and other key groups across the company.”
Fun and learning
The Marketing and User Enablement teams closed the day with a creative session. Michael Schmidt (@Michael-Schmidt) played late-night show host, guiding us through best practices for using marketing and enablement assets in a fun talk-show style.
Thank you
A big thank you goes to Tatjana Keller (@tkeller), who organized the event from start to finish – from the location to the boat dinner. She made sure everything ran smoothly and that the team enjoyed themselves.
Looking ahead
Todd summed it up well:
“With the contract transition work behind us and the upcoming release of JMP 19, the time is now to focus on accelerating expansion in our customers so we can drive strong NSR growth in 2025.”
The event was fun, useful, and motivating. We are now ready to rock NSR in 2025!
