The JMP Procurement team, led by Senior Procurement Analyst Tiffany Scarlett, has been busy getting Zip up and running for all of JMP’s expenditures. Anyone who needs to use Zip should have completed the initial training session to learn how to use the new system. Procurement and Finance are committed to conducting additional training with EMEA, APAC, and Americas – EMEA’s training has already been provided.
Training for APAC and the Americas will be scheduled within the coming weeks.
Zip’s functionality continues to progress, and it’s now available to do even more. All JMP spend requests should now be submitted using Zip.
However, there are still a few current exceptions:
- Agreements that cannot be translated into English.
- Speaker and white paper agreements.
JMP is in the beginning stages of selecting vendors for a JMP credit card and Travel & Expense platform, which would replace Concur in the U.S. There will be further updates when we begin exploring Travel & Expense for the rest of the world. In the meantime, continue using your SAS credit card for Travel & Expense transactions and follow their existing processes. Those in the organization who are using a credit card for technology purchases should contact JMP Procurement for direction on how to use Zip.
