Please help give Rory Copus @rory a warm welcome to JMP!
Based in Henley-on-Thames in the U.K., Rory joins us with a diverse background in both sales and elite sports coaching. Most recently at Softcat, he fast-tracked through their sales development program, beating targets and earning himself sales award recognitions. Prior to that, he built high-value partnerships at Boardwave, working directly with tech leaders and C-suite executives.
Before transitioning to tech sales, Rory had a distinguished career as a professional rowing coach, working with athletes at the national and international level, including Team GB. A former World University Champion himself, he still volunteers his coaching expertise on weekends.
Outside of work, Rory brings a creative flair. He was a child actor in film and TV (yes, even Midsomer Murders!), and he occasionally performs with a local drama group. Whether on the water or the stage, communication, performance, and drive are clearly in his DNA.
