How to tailoring x axis for control chart

Question

For the control chart (IR), I want to make an individual chart for my measured value against the manufacturing date. I just choose  created (date) as sample label, and y as measured value. The result shows my x axis has a duplicate of lots of dates. Could I just show each date for only once (because many units are built on the same date) and reduce the marks on the axis. Do you have any suggestion on that?

You should easily be able to do what you desire by just double-clicking the x-axis and changing the increment. If you attach a file to this thread perhaps we could diagnose your specific difficulty
