JMP Academy interns, summer 2025
It was wonderful to welcome our 2025 interns to JMP with a dedicated JMP Academy day. Following up on Audrey Shull's
John Sall speaks to the most recent JMP Academy class.insightful article, I want to extend my sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this event a success.
If you have been to JMP Academy, you understand what an amazing experience it is. It’s a unique opportunity to hear directly from our founder, John Sall, about the evolution and story of JMP.
Beyond that, it allows new hires to connect with colleagues they might not otherwise encounter, learn how to be effective brand ambassadors, gain hands-on experience with JMP, and explore the contributions of various departments to our company’s vision and mission.
The dedication of the employees who present at JMP Academy is remarkable. These individuals, representing nearly every department, take time out of their demanding schedules to share their work with such passion and enthusiasm. It's truly inspiring to witness the genuine joy they have for their roles. While some may initially feel a bit hesitant to participate, they almost always express gratitude afterward for the opportunity to present.
Thank you to our behind-the-scenes team
JMP Academy interns enjoyed dinner at The Pit and games at Boxcar Arcade in downtown Raleigh. Those who work behind the scenes and make this happen are dedicated to creating an unforgettable experience. I have had the privilege of shadowing Pete Hersh and Robin Betters as they prepared for JMP Academy during JMP Reunion. They have done an amazing job of making JMP Academy a welcoming experience.
My manager, Phil Kay, says that “working at JMP should be, and is, fun.” I believe that starting all our new hires with JMP Academy perfectly embodies his statement.
For all the new interns, this will be an amazing summer, so let's make it fun! Enjoy your time at this amazing company, where you'll work alongside very passionate and kind colleagues who will champion your success.
