Looking for a good life sciences or pharma asset to share with your JMP customer or prospect? We've just completed an audit of gated resources and I'm attaching here (as .jmp and .xls files). Analysis includes available white papers, books chapters, articles and individual episodes of our live and on-demand Technically Speaking and Analytically Speaking events, Explorers talks, and other non-series videos.
Analysis includes age/relevance of asset, global web traffic, form completions, Salesforce contacts and leads and other factors.
While you may come to different conclusions, I’ll offer the following assets as top performers to consider sharing:
A couple of things to note about web metrics:
- Daily web page views comes from Google Analytics data and is calculated from date of first web visitor or 1/1/15 (whichever came first) until 5/25/2020.
- You’ll find a country-by-country count of web page views in the final third of the .spreadsheet. It there is no data for a particular country that cell will be blank. Global lifetime views aggregate visits to each individual country landing page (if there is one) into a grand total.
- Web registrations and web registration % is calculated by form completions – a count of /thanks (if white paper, article, etc.) or /watch page (if live or on demand video) visits. These pages appear after form is completed and allow individual to download asset. Disclaimer: I can’t be completely certain that they actually viewed the asset, but it’s probably safe to assume they did.
- in the .xls, you’ll notice that lifetime daily views and web reg% have been conditionally formatted to highlight high-performing (green) and low-performing assets (red).
A couple of things to note about Salesforce metrics:
- Asset “start date” is not when entered into Salesforce, but data of initial web traffic.
- Days Active is from date of first web visitor or 1/1/15 (whichever came first) until 5/25/2020.
- Leads and Contacts are pulled out of Salesforce and MAY combine multiple campaigns (i.e. I'll combine live and subsequently on-demand version of a resource into one number). Daily number is a calculation of registrations/days active.
- Total Registrations and Reg/Day simply combine leads and contacts.
- In the .xls, you’ll notice that days active, reg/day, leads/day, contacts/day have been conditionally formatted to highlight high-performing (green) and low-performing assets (red).
Check out the full analysis in the attached files.
Of course, if you have any questions about this research or want specific consultation on what asset might be best for your particular need, please give me a shout.
Thanks everyone,
Larry
Glad you like it @RebeccaSurendra ! In case you missed it, I did something similar for DOE resources Design of Experiments Content Audit - Spring 2020 . More to come, for sure!
Thanks again for the comment.

Thank you Larry! This is really helpful. Sales people are always asking what asset to use to move a customer forward and an industry focused asset is always better than a general one. More "top assets" by industry would be great!
