What inspired this Wish List Request?
Some of the Tables menu options can be complicated when a user has many open data tables, especially if those data table are all named similarly (Untitled 267, Untitled 268, etc.)
Please describe the new or improved feature or solution you would like to see.
If the user checks the checkbox at the bottom of the data table, then wants to do a data table combining step (Join, Update, Concatenate, Query Builder), it would be nice if the data tables that were checked showed up as pre-highlighted in the dialog box, as in the mock-up picture below). This behavior is already "sorta" in JMP with respect to columns: Selected columns show up as highlighted in platform dialog boxes, which saves time doing analysis.
What would the value be to you and/or other users if this new feature is provided?
Just makes using JMP faster and less confusing/tedious, especially when a user has many open data tables.

Is there a competitive software package that has this feature or solution that we should be aware of?
No.
Will this impact a renewal, expansion, or adoption at a customer, and does this put an account at risk if we do not address this?
No.
