In Giappone, tra la fine di aprile e l'inizio di maggio si celebra un periodo di festività speciale, la Golden Week, una delle più lunghe e attese del Paese. Questa settimana comprende diverse festività nazionali in rapida successione, tra cui:
- Giorno di Showa (29 aprile), in onore del compleanno dell'imperatore Showa.
- Giorno della Memoria della Costituzione (3 maggio).
- Greenery Day (4 maggio): giornata dedicata alla natura e all'ambiente.
- Giornata internazionale dei bambini (5 maggio): un giorno per augurare salute e felicità ai più piccoli.
Molte persone in Giappone approfittano di questa occasione per viaggiare, visitare la famiglia, rilassarsi a casa o dedicarsi ai propri hobby e alla natura. Con diversi giorni di ferie consecutivi, è il momento perfetto per una meritata pausa.
