Now that Q2 is here, the focus sharpens on your personal and professional growth, and SAS is committed to providing the resources you need to thrive.
This quarter presents opportunities to actively cultivate your development by using the valuable opportunities available. To further support your progress, we encourage you to participate in Professional Development Week next week. You'll receive targeted tips and tools designed to facilitate meaningful and productive development conversations with your manager.
Professional Development Week is May 19-23
The OED team has put together a great lineup of activities for Professional Development Week to further support employee learning and development. Employees may participate in live sessions from training vendors, including LinkedIn Learning and Pluralsight, and SAS-led sessions on trending topics, such as Change Management, Career Development, PLATO, SAS software training for employees, Microsoft productivity tools, and more!
The full Professional Development Week schedule and registration links are available on InsideSAS and the OED SharePoint site. Please share all these opportunities with your groups and encourage them to take advantage of all that’s happening.
Q2 development conversations
During this week, you’ll also receive tips and tools—including an e-learning, job aid, and conversation starters—to support you in your Q2 development conversation with your manager.
We encourage JMP employees to review the development planning resource page and take the Q2 Goals Development Goals training via SABA to learn more about our emphasis on development goal setting and using PLATO for goal entry, planning, and updates.
New and improved PLATO
Significant updates and improvements have been made to the PLATO system so that employees now have a one-stop shop for all their learning and development needs.
There are two sessions planned for PLATO training that JMP employees are encouraged to attend:
- PLATO Session #1: Wednesday, May 21, 11-12 p.m. Eastern (US), 17:00-18:00 CET (EMEA), 23:00-00:00 HKT (AP)
- PLATO Session #2: Thursday, May 22, 3-4 p.m. Eastern (US), 9:00-10:00 CET (EMEA), 15:00-16:00 HKT (AP)
Visit the PLATO SharePoint site for additional information.
Many thanks for this valuable guidance, @CCKouassi
One comment from my side: both PLATO sessions seem to cover the same content, so you can choose the one that is the most convenient for you
Yes, that is correct, <A href="https://community.jmp.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/36545" target="_blank">@tkeller</A>. Both sessions have the same content.
