Saving polynomial fit coefficients to data tableFriends, I have created a simple X-Y data table. It includes 2 cases each with its own X-Y series. I have used the Fit Y by X option in jmp to create polynomial best fit equations that are reported in a GUI. What I need to do is output the fit parameters by case to a data table that I can them merge with the original data table. Hard to do? How might I go about this. Thanks. AndyB

Or right click on the parameter estimates table and make it into a datatable

You can then do what you wish with that resulting data table
Re: Saving polynomial fit coefficients to data tableAndy:
I noticed that you are fitting by Case #. When you launch the fit-y-dy-x dialog, include the Case column in the By role. Then when you fit the polynomial, be sure to hold down the CTRL key to broadcast to all the Cases. Then, right click on the first Parameter Estimate table as @jthi showed, but click on Make Into Combined Data Table. You will have to split the resulting table by the Term column.
Re: Saving polynomial fit coefficients to data tableAnother approach would be to use the Fit Curve platform, fit a Quadratic, and export the parameters from the Group Summary table. The example below uses the Big Class sample data table.

Re: Saving polynomial fit coefficients to data tableJed_Campbell this is perfect !!!!!! Thank you sooooooo much! SImple and elegant. Sincerely, Andy
Re: Saving polynomial fit coefficients to data table Hi Jed_Campbell, This worked well as per my previous reply, but I now realize that I don't know how to export the group summary table. I have a Mac, so maybe the GUI option is not obvious. Thanks-AndyB
Re: Saving polynomial fit coefficients to data tableIgnore me :0) I found that a double tap on the MAc got me to the right pop up. Thank you so mcuh
