This presentation will introduce the historical origin and definition of the ROC (Receiver Operating Characteristic) curve, understand the concepts of sensitivity (true positive) and specificity (true negative), interpret the confusion matrix, evaluate the AUC (Area Under Curve), etc., and use sample data of diabetes to demonstrate how to use the ROC curve in JMP to help analyze and predict the medical diagnosis process.
