Please Keep the Legacy IR Control ChartWhat inspired this wish list request? The IR Control Chart has been flagged for removal from JMP. Alternative methods for analysing large datasets are not as user friendly as the IR Control Chart. For instance graph builder is great but not when trying to review over 100 control charts simultaneously for data review. Levy Jennings control chart in JMP 18 is also great but clunky when trying to review 15 trends under 10-15 categorized themes and often crashes.
What is the improvement you would like to see? Retain legacy IR charts as I use this function daily and alternatives are not as user friendly, quick, and often crash.
Why is this idea important? Important for several weekly calls a week....I use IR charting DAILY!
Basic Data Analysis and ModelingData Exploration and VisualizationRe: Please Keep the Legacy IR Control Chart - Status changed to: DeliveredHi @JaredEMoll ,
Thank you for posting this suggestion. In JMP 19 you can create IMR charts from the Control Chart menu, using a dialog that is nearly identical to the legacy IR chart chart dialog in JMP 18. If you'd like to give this a try, please join our Early Adopter program at jmp.com/earlyadoper.
I'll mark this request as delivered for now.
Thanks!
Mia

Re: Please Keep the Legacy IR Control ChartReturning to this request @JaredEMoll , curious if you've explored Process Screening? It's ideal for exploring multiple processes simultaneously, and has been greatly enhanced in JMP 19.
Also, the legacy control charts are still available via JSL, and the legacy control chart menu can be added back using preferences.
