JMP 18 reached a significant milestone earlier this month: it has officially surpassed installations of JMP 17, and all older versions of JMP! This achievement emphasizes the value and impact of our continuous efforts to deliver cutting-edge statistical discovery software and highlights the pivotal role of My JMP in driving user adoption.

Streamlined license management further accelerates adoption by removing update complexities.”
The result? Faster and wider deployment of JMP 18.
This rapid adoption is crucial. From a Product Management standpoint, getting more users on the latest version quickly means we gain earlier and more comprehensive feedback on the high-value features, fixes, and workflow improvements we build based directly on user input.
“So much of our work in planning for new versions involves listening to the voice of the customer, so having more users on the latest version of the software earlier allows for ideas and suggestions to come into the wish list,” Product Management Director Dan Valente said. “Having these ideas early in the cycle is important for JMP 20 planning, which is already underway.”
You can view Customer Site Installations on the JMP Live dashboard, which shows that JMP 18 has reached more installations than all older versions.
