The Decision Support & Data Analytics team has launched a powerful new resource: the JMP Revenue Summary dashboard. This dashboard is hosted on JMP Live and brings together critical sales data into an easily accessible location, streamlining how we track our progress and understand our revenue streams.
In a step toward efficiency and clarity, these new dashboards have been designed to show financial metrics relevant to the entire company, instead of metrics only relevant to the sales organization.
“This dashboard is the first step in providing increased transparency into JMP’s overall performance and progress toward financial goals,” Decision Support & Data Analytics Manager Andy Zhou (@andyzhou) said. “As we finalize contract transitions this year, there will be more reports to come that will show progress toward our mission of spreading the use and impact of JMP products.”
So, what valuable insights can you currently glean from the JMP Revenue Summary dashboards? You can now easily monitor the company's New Sales Revenue (NSR), Renewals, and Total Sales Revenue (TSR), broken down by country at a glance. This detailed geographical perspective allows us to identify key markets, understand regional performance, and tailor our strategies accordingly.
How to access the dashboard
You can access the dahboards easily from the InsideJMP homepage. You can access the dahboards easily from the InsideJMP homepage.Getting to the JMP Revenue Summary dashboards is simple and intuitive. Just head to the InsideJMP homepage. You'll now find a prominent "JMP Revenue Summary" button at the top of the page.
If you have never accessed JMP Live, use the same credentials as your computer login. The username can either be the SAS username or your email address.
Data Visualization Analyst Elise Batchev (@ebatchev1) has created a JMP Revenue Summary Confluence page to explain the dashboards more in-depth. You can find that here.
This initiative, spearheaded by Zhou and the Decision Support & Data Analytics team, directly reflects the JMP’s commitment to being data-driven, as highlighted during the recent JMP Reunion. By providing a clear and unified view of our revenue performance, these dashboards will empower teams across the organization to:
- Gain a holistic understanding of our sales performance and see how NSR, Renewals, and TSR contribute to our overall success in different regions.
- Identify trends and opportunities by analyzing the data by country to spot emerging markets or areas where we can further strengthen our presence.
- Make informed decisions using this information to support more strategic planning and targeted actions.
- Track progress toward our goals and monitor key revenue metrics against our targets, providing valuable insights into our trajectory.
The launch of the JMP Revenue Summary dashboards is a testament to the power of collaboration and a focus on providing useful and efficient tools for our internal teams.
A big thank you to the Decision Support & Data Analytics team, which includes Zhou, Batchev, and Intern (converting full-time to an Associate Data Visualization Analyst position in June) Trevor Rathje (@trevor_rathje), for their hard work in bringing this valuable resource to life! We encourage everyone to explore the new dashboards on JMP Live and leverage this information to contribute to JMP's continued growth and success.
