JMP Reunion 2025 commenced with an engaging opening plenary, featuring insights from JMP Founder John Sall (@John_Sall) and CEO Jon Weisz (@Jon_Weisz), followed by a series of informative "speed talks" from various department leaders.
Sall initiated the session by acknowledging the importance of JMP's global relationships. He also addressed the current economic climate, stating, "We value our global relationships, but unfortunately,” as Sall put it, “the tariffs are tariff-ying." Sall noted the concerns from a US perspective but assured attendees that JMP is well-positioned to navigate economic challenges. He emphasized the increasing value of the JMP product as users continue to enhance our products and processes and pointed out that the software industry has, thus far, remained unaffected by tariffs.
Sall also highlighted several positive developments, including the growth of JMP's infrastructure, streamlined business processes, and enhanced customer connectivity. He announced the recent release of JMP 18.2 maintenance and previewed the upcoming JMP 19 EA8, with the full launch of JMP 19 scheduled for Discovery Summit in Austin this fall.
Weisz continued the plenary, focusing on JMP's progress and future direction. He emphasized the significant achievements resulting from the collective efforts of the JMP team. Weisz excitedly announced that JMP can now contract, invoice, and receive payments for our operations, fully independent of SAS systems, with the transition complete by the end of Q3, and we can handle procure to pay for many of our expenses. “I have confidence in JMP's ability to continue double-digit growth in 2025 and reclaim Rule of 40 status.”
He also offered a message of reassurance and resilience during these complex times. “I find it comforting in this crazy world to open my laptop and do work. We’re very resilient in past times, so I recommend we keep working."
Weisz provided an update on regional progress in the transition to JMP systems. “Japan and the US are done with conversion, so you’ll see the US soaring,” he said. “The others are still in transition, so you’ll see those grow later in the year. We’ll get a more realistic look at the year at mid-year."
He concluded his remarks with a "special shout out," acknowledging the contributions of several key departments, including Digital Operations, Business Operations, Legal, Finance, and Sales, and provided specific updates on contract renewals in Asia, EMEA, Japan, and China.

The plenary then transitioned to a series of "speed talks" from various JMP leaders:
