Thanks Brady. Actually this is not really what the customers wants. Let me explain again.
He wants to calculate for each row, the number of defect. For example, if for row 1 which is IDLotFace1, if A1, A3, and A5 is out of spec, than the number of TNC = 3. The subtlety is that he wants to calculate the rate from the specification limits included from the column properties. And in his script, he defined this with a fixed value. So the question is how to use the specification limits from the column properties to evaluate the rate of out of spec per row.
Thanks in advance,
Best regards,
Valerie

Hi Valerie,
See the last script in the data table. In particular, the last 3 lines. This can also be applied to the “Long Term Sigma” section if desired by altering the name of the outline box referenced. Also, some of the numbers are odd because the spec limits are reversed. (I.e., USL < LSL).
Cheers,
Brady

Subject: Summarize the rate of pieces out of specification.
Hi again,
I need your help again. A customer would like to summarize for each piece the rate of out of specification. Here attached, the data table, each row is a piece with different measurements (with its specification limits), and the script that calculates, per piece, the rate of out of specification. It works but only for a define specification limits (define in the script as 0.2 and -0.2). Ideal would be to calculate the rate of out of specification from the column properties. Is this possible? If yes, how?
I hope it is clear.
Thanks in advance,
Best regards,
Valerie
