Creating a Broken Axis in graph builderHi everyone,
I've had a customer ask me if it's possible to produce a broken axis in JMP and it's left me a little stumped. Some searching turned up this discussion Looking for good example data for a broken axis graph - JMP User Community which suggests it is possible, but unfortunately it appears that Xan's blog post that is linked from that discussion has been archived, and I've not been able to find an alternative explanation.
I suspect I'm missing something obvious, but was hoping that someone has a good answer to this!
Thanks in advance,
Stuart
Re: Creating a Broken Axis in graph builderThanks @Peter_Hersh and @andreacoombs1 - Nice and easy (Now I know how!)
Re: Creating a Broken Axis in graph builderYou essentially create two side by side graphs and resize the axis. See the Graph Builder script in the attached jmp data table.
Re: Creating a Broken Axis in graph builder@Stuart_Little,
It is too bad if that is archived that was a very nice example. To do this you create two identical graphs side by side. Then adjust the axis settings and the graph spacing. I have attached a real simple example using the data set that should not be named.
