Today, we're excited to introduce you to Suzanne Brooks (@SuzanneBrooks), an Inside Sales Account Representative on our Global Premier Team.

On the job...
Suzanne is dedicated to supporting our key accounts and fostering user success. "I’m a member of the Global Premier Team, and I spend most of my time each day supporting our named accounts in any way I can – promoting JMP events, looking for and supporting newer users, facilitating learning sessions, and answering emails," she explained. "Our team supports some of JMP’s largest accounts, so there are a lot of users to support!"
Her background in accounting and financial services has instilled a strong customer-centric approach. "Most of my career has been spent ensuring customers’ needs are met. In other words, customer success! I’m a pleaser by nature, so I have an innate desire to keep customers happy and do what I can to bring people together to solve issues."
For those starting in her field, Suzanne offers simple yet crucial advice: "Ask questions! When I first started at JMP almost three years ago, I was hesitant to ask questions at first. I came from a totally different industry and the learning curve was steep! My questions were so basic, but I quickly realized literally everyone was willing to help. I’ve had, and continue to have, many 'ah ha' moments!"
When it comes to the JMP Brand Pillars, Suzanne embodies the spirit of helpfulness. "For me, being helpful is key," she said. "I’m not an expert, but I can connect our users with someone who is or send them resources so they can increase their JMP proficiency. I want to help make their jobs easier!"
On the side...
Outside of work, Suzanne's passions center around family, sports, and travel. "My family, all things football, and travel!" she said. "In the past, I was passionate about volunteering in public schools. Now that my kids are in college, I need another volunteer gig with kids!"
A fun fact that might surprise many is her past as a Highland Dancer. "I was a Highland Dancer in high school," Suzanne revealed. "Being from Scotland County in NC, I love the bagpipes (but can’t play them) and the Highland fling."
After a long day, Suzanne finds relaxation in a variety of activities. "I like to unwind by walking my dog, having a glass of wine, or playing mahjong with friends," she said.
Suzanne's dedication to customer success and her friendly, helpful nature makes her an asset to the JMP team.
