How do I open smartsheet using a JMP Script?

I'd like to automate the extraction of data from smartsheet tables. Currently, I export the smartsheet table to an Excel file, then operate on it with a JMP Script. Any insight would be appreciated.

I'm not familiar with smartsheet. Are the smartsheet tables stored as individual data files? If so, have you tried opening them directly from JMP? Maybe you can use File > Internet Open... in JMP if a smartsheet table has a URL.
