On the job...
Cyrionna is the mastermind behind our marketing automation, ensuring seamless communication with our audience. "My official title is Marketing Automation Specialist, but everyone knows me as the HubSpot Guru/Fairy," she explained. "A typical day for me consists of reviewing and approving the global marketing emails sent, reviewing and optimizing current automations, building new automations for field marketing or global efforts, keeping HubSpot clean, and troubleshooting any HubSpot problems that occur."
Her journey to marketing automation is a blend of creativity and technical skill. "For as long as I can remember, I wanted to be a film/TV editor, but with time, I realized that job was too lonely for my inner social butterfly," Cyrionna said. "So, I tried TV production for a while until I realized I was too nice for reality television and not interested in working for a news station. I took a promotional communications class and was hooked. So, my bachelor’s is in journalism and marketing, and my master’s is in business with a focus on entrepreneurship."

Among her favorite projects at JMP, Cyrionna highlights her work on email subscriptions, lead management, and global trial nurture automation. "Launching subscription types for JMP emails, implementing a sunset policy for unengaged leads, creating the global trial nurture automation, and working with the Web and Community team to get forms and event registrations launched in HubSpot," she said.
What Cyrionna values most about working at JMP is the global collaboration. " I get to work with people all over the world.”
For those starting in marketing automation, Cyrionna offers practical advice: "Marketing is the best of both the creative and analytical worlds. You don’t need to be overly creative, and you don’t have to be the best at math, I promise. Put your all into whatever you are doing and learn as much as you can because it will likely change in 2-5 years. Marketing isn’t going anywhere but it is always changing."
When it comes to representing JMP’s brand, Cyrionna embodies the spirit of helpfulness. "A lot of the automations I create or work with teams to develop revolve around helping put the right content and information in front of leads and/or users so they can get the most out of JMP,” she said. “As an employee, I also feel like it is my job to help as many of my colleagues get back as much time and energy as possible with HubSpot and automation."

A fun fact that might surprise many is her international upbringing. "I was raised overseas because I am a Navy Brat," Cyrionna revealed. "I spent my entire childhood in England, Spain, and Japan."
After a long day, Cyrionna finds relaxation in simple pleasures. "My favorite way to unwind is to talk about the day with my husband, watch some mindless TV, and have a glass of wine," she said.
