During the Reunion, we'll use the 2025 JMP Global Reunion community on Microsoft Teams Viva Engage to share updates, announcements, and reminders throughout the event. If you haven't been invited to this group yet, contact Larry LaRusso (@Larry_LaRusso).

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q: What’s the weather going to be like?
A: It looks like we may have a bit of rain. Temperatures will range from lows of around 40 degrees F (5 C) to highs of about 60 degrees F (16 C). As always, when visiting North Carolina in the spring, pack layers so you can be comfortable no matter what the weather does.
Q: Is this allergy season in Cary?
A: YES! The pollen count is very high right now. If you have issues with springtime allergens, please bring your medications and some tissues.
Q: What is the dress code?
A: Business casual is appropriate for all of our functions.
Q: Will we be walking around a lot?
A: We’ll move between buildings. But we will have riding options if walking is not ideal. If accessibility is an issue, let Diana Levey (@Diana_Levey) or Robin Betters (@Robin_Betters) know. And do wear comfortable shoes!
Q: Is there transportation between the hotel and the events?
A: Yes. A bus is scheduled to move people between events. If the bus schedule does not meet your needs, we suggest carpooling or taking a Lyft or Uber ridesharing option. And, yes, you can be reimbursed for reasonable ridesharing expenses, but you don’t need to rent a car.
Q: Are the sessions mandatory?
A: Pretty much. Your colleagues have put a lot of effort into creating the perfect program for Reunion. It would be sad for you to miss out on the content and the connections.
Q: Which sessions are for all staffers?
A: Wednesday’s plenary session and Ask Me Anything Expo are for all staff. So is the teambuilding on Thursday. And Friday’s closing session is also for all staffers.
Q: What do I do Thursday morning?
A: That depends on your job and interests. Many groups are holding breakout sessions in the Executive Briefing Center. If you don’t know where to be, ask someone who does something similar to you. Or just go between sessions until you hear something interesting.
Q: Am I expected to attend dinners?
A: If you’re been invited to a dinner, then you are expected to attend. We’ve already incurred the expense, and we’d love for you to join us.
Q: Is drinking allowed at dinners?
A: Yes. BUT it’s never ok to overimbibe at any work function. If you’re going to drink, do so responsibly.
Q: Will there be after-parties?
A: Maybe. But please use common sense when taking on late-night activities. Late nights don’t usually go well with early mornings and business meetings.
Q: What if I’m an introvert and this much time with people is tough?
A: You’re not alone. Many of us are introverted. The week will be a lot, but this kind of opportunity doesn’t come often.
Q: Can I get a tour of the SAS campus?
A: We don’t have an official tour scheduled, but if you’d like to see more of the campus, ask an employee who works in Cary. We’ll consider that teambuilding.
Q: How do I get a new photo?
A: We want all of you to have an up-to-date professional photo you can use for your bio, for speaking engagements, and for your LinkedIn profile. We’ll have several photographers ready for you at the JMP Ask Me Anything Expo. Look for the Camera Corner.
Q: How will I remember everyone’s names?
A: We will have name badges. Please wear yours for all activities and sessions. There are so many of us now, it’ll help us all get better at putting faces with names.
Q: Will we be in buildings with other SAS people?
A: Yes. This will be a regular work week for most of SAS, so please be courteous to those employees trying to conduct normal business.
Q: Can I post photos of Reunion on social media?
A: Of course! But as always, please make sure you have permission from whoever is in the photo before posting. Also, use the hashtag #JMPlife.
Q: What should I keep in mind?
A: Please remember to be kind and polite, be curious and present, be authentic and accountable. And most of all, be a good JMP ambassador.
