Voting Precinct SHP or DBF files?

Hi-

 

I got a customer question this morning while talking about creating geographic maps in JMP if we have voting precinct maps as .SHP or .DBF files that she can import/use in her graphical analysis.  Does anyone know the answer to this?

I usually get that kind of data from data.gov or the us census. Both put out shape files for different geographic shapes. I think the shape files for Voting precincts would be at the state level, though. After you get the files the instructions to install them are in the Graphing book under help > books in jmp. There’s a chapter on custom map files.
