Special note: Next Friday, March 28 is the JMP 19.0 Developer String Deadline for UI string handoff 2. Please attend to stuck strings before this deadline if at all possible. The earlier we have finalized strings enter the translation process, the sooner they can be reviewed by the doc team, translated, and checked by our external expert reviewers. Thank you!
Welcome to the JMP Development Update for March 21, 2025!
With JMP 18.2 now released in MyJMP, customers have access to our latest fixes. Thanks to the doc and localization teams, English JMP Help for 18.2 has been released to the web along with translated JMP Help for Japanese, Simplified Chinese and (for the first time) Korean! Translated help is also available for JMP Live and interactive HTML. Meanwhile, work continues in the 18.2.1 track this week with fixes for JMP Clinical to support customers transitioning from older versions.
Last week’s Discovery Summit conference in Europe was a great success! It was a very well-run event (as all Discovery events are). I heard that developers talked to many happy customers who were especially appreciative of JMP listening to their input via the Wishlist. One customer even brought a baked good in thanks for JMP 19 new features, making good on a promise made to a developer in a technical support track! Well…that’s a first. :smiling_face_with_smiling_eyes: If you attended the conference, please don’t forget to capture notes and related Jira issues on the Collected Notes page here. Please also add DISCOVERY_EUROPE_2025 to the Labels field on any Jira issues you enter as a result of discussions at the conference.
Thanks to Richard Zink for sharing his recent work with subgroup screening in JMP Clinical 19 at this week’s JMP Dev meeting! If you missed the meeting, you can find a recording here. As Richard noted in the demo, John Sall added subgroup screening features to Process Screening for JMP 19 and JMP Clinical will have some Clinical-specific features for 19. Richard also demoed forest plot and upset plot add-ins he’s created that do not require JMP Clinical but can also run in vanilla JMP. If you missed the meeting and would like more details about Richard’s subgroup screening work, you can find a recording here.
Finally, thanks very much to Tonya Mauldin for sharing the Beta/Crash cases for the last 2 weeks with crashes selected!
