Welcome back to our "Get to Know JMP" series, where we introduce you to the talented individuals who help make JMP what it is.
Today, we're excited to introduce you to Henry Moore (@HenryMooreThird), a Senior Events Technology Specialist.
On the job...
Henry plays a critical role in bringing JMP events to life, both virtually and in person. "The best part of my job is there is no typical day. I help to put together and produce JMP events, virtual and in person. A lot of planning is involved, working with different people within JMP and vendors that are helping us support events, like Discovery."
His journey to event technology is a blend of creative and technical experience. "I started as a studio engineer, then transitioned into ministry as a Media Director, and that piqued my curiosity about the world of corporate AV and Production," Henry said.
Henry the adventure-seeker, seen here skydiving."My favorite project so far has to be the JMP Company kickoff this year," he said. "It was a lot of hard work, and I learned a new program just to edit the video. And it came out great."
What Henry values most about working at JMP is the supportive and growth-oriented environment. "I love the family atmosphere and not having to be perfect," he said. "There is an opportunity to try new things, fail fast, and grow."
For those starting in event technology, Henry offers practical advice: "Learn the basics and build on those. You can’t learn every program, and things change constantly. But the basics have always kept me grounded and allowed me to learn new things quickly and implement them."
When it comes to representing JMP’s brand, Henry embodies the spirit of approachability. "Approachable - I think this allows for conversations and is always a starting place to resolve problems before they appear," he said.

Henry with his family.Outside of work, Henry's passions revolve around family and creativity. " I’m married with two young kids," he said. "I also enjoy writing and trying out different tech." After a long day, Henry finds comfort in familiar moments. "Watching a movie with the family is how I like to unwind."
A fun fact that might surprise many is his hidden talent. "I can juggle," Henry revealed.
