JMP, then a division of SAS, had merely nine employees at the time of the first release in October 1989. Now, with almost 550 employees in 17 countries around the world, JMP has grown in size, adding more business processes and layers, but it still feels like a small company.
What sets us apart? Employee innovation is what makes JMP a leader in statistical discovery. Within the past year, we’ve seen business growth and development through projects like the release of JMP 18, the launch and growth of the JMP Store, and the new external jmp.com site. And the innovation never stops, as evidenced by October’s launch of JMP 19.
We value our employees and want them to feel appreciated for their work at JMP. All of these projects have come to fruition because of our employees.
“As a knowledge enterprise, JMP gets its strength and value from the amazing people who work here,” CEO Jon Weisz said. “The intelligence, dedication, professionalism, and just plain grit of JMP staff are the reasons that JMP has grown into the organization it is today. Employees Appreciation Day is relatively new ‘holiday,’ designed to make us pause and thank our coworkers. So let me take this opportunity to thank you all for everything you do. Thank you for making JMP an amazing place to work.”

Here are a few ways in which we show our appreciation:
