What inspired this Wish List Request?
Nvidia using custom map shapes for wafermaps, but they cannot turn on labels for the values as can be done with Heatmap.
Please describe the new or improved feature or solution you would like to see.
Heatmaps have the option to turn on labels (Label by Value), but custom maps do not. The feature request is to add the same functionality to custom maps that heatmaps have.
What would the value be to you and/or other users if this new feature is provided?
Customers will be able to see the values in custom maps without having to label all rows which does not create an aesthetically pleasing result, because it also includes additional column info that is not desired and cannot be turned off.

Is there a competitive software package that has this feature or solution that we should be aware of?
Yes, semiconductor industry data analysis software packages like Exensio and Optimal+ can add labels to custom wafermap shapes.
