As of 16MAY2025, the partner program is closed for new applicants. Any existing partner who wishes to remain enrolled in the partner program must be reviewed by the appropriate team each year. Only the most current release will be available to Partners unless approved and directed by the Sales Leadership team.
JMP has long partnered with other organizations who provide training and other services – to the benefit of them, their customers, and JMP. But the Partner program had become unwieldy, so in an effort to streamline the approval process and the oversight of our partners, some changes have been made.
The JMP Partners program now consists of three categories of partners, each overseen by different departments within JMP:
- Training and consulting partners are reviewed and managed by JMP Education. Ruth Hummel, Pany Allen, and team evaluate each partner and determine if they meet JMP standards.
- Development partners are reviewed and managed by JMP Product Management. Dan Valente and team evaluate each partner and determine if they meet JMP standards.
- Friends of JMP (FOJ) are processed on a case-by-case basis. Participants in the FOJ program are given free software for their own personal use. Complete the attached questionnaire and return it to Jason Romanos for his approval.
Since Pany and Ruth do not have access to all the same fields as us, when we receive a case from a partner asking about renewing, follow these steps.
- Send an email to the contact confirming receipt of their request and that someone from the respective team will be following up with them.
- If contact and company information is not filled in, please complete
- Update Topics, Subtopics, etc.
- Update Concerns = Partner renewal request
- Resolution = Passed to Pany for follow up
- On Hold Until = 3 weeks
- Within the case @ mention Ruth Hummel and Pany Allen and CC Jeff Perkinson in a Post.
- Assign case to Pany – DO NOT uncheck the “Send notification email.”
- To make sure communication is within Salesforce, Pany will respond from the case using info@jmp.com email
- She will provide the response back to the Store Admin to update within the store
- She will leave it open until the due date and then close it.
