International Women’s Day (IWD) is a global day to honor women's achievements and raise awareness about the ongoing effort to promote women’s equity and empowerment. This year’s theme was Accelerating Action, which highlights the importance of taking bold, collective steps to create a more inclusive world.

InterAct is a non-profit based in the Raleigh-Durham area that is dedicated to ending the cycle of domestic and sexual violence in Wake County, North Carolina. InterAct saves lives, rebuilds lives, and secures safer futures for victims, survivors, and their families. Many victims of domestic and sexual violence have been forced to leave their homes because of abuse. InterAct depends on in-kind donations such as food supplies and other essential items to help families rebuild peaceful homes.
We asked our JMP family to donate needed items from the Interact wish list - and JMP employees stepped up donating more than $1,000 in items to this cause.
"Thanks so much for organizing a donation drive and delivering the donations to InterAct!' InterAct Volunteer and Donor Engagement Coordinator Jusy Goergen said. "We appreciate your generosity. Your donations will go directly to survivors and their families."
