Call for content for Discovery Summit 2025 has opened and will close April 22. Please inform those in your networks and encourage them to submit early (social tiles to come)! I have scheduled a call for us to finalize paper and poster presenters on Monday, April 28th from 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm ET. I have sent the meeting request.

We will have an In-Person segment and an online segment for Discovery Summit 2025.
- In-Person - Tuesday, October 21 - Friday, October 24 in Austin, TX
- Online – second or third week in September, dates to be finalized soon
For new steering committee members, you should have received an email from OpenWater, our platform for reading and rating abstracts. This email will let you know how to login. Please check your spam/junk folder if you have not received this email. You can also log in using this link. https://jmp.secure-platform.com/a/ If you have trouble logging in, please reach out to Kirsten Crannell at kirsten.crannell@jmp.com.
We have multiple presentation types. When rating submissions, there is a comment section where you can add additional feedback or notes. In that space please indicate what presentation type your recommending.
- In-Person: These papers will be delivered at the in-person special segment of Discovery Summit.
- Simulive: The recording will be live streamed during the online segment with the presenter available for Q&A in the chat and afterwards. These papers should be geared towards beginners.
- Poster: Posters will be delivered during the in-person event only. If you see a paper that you would recommend as a poster instead then add that to the comment section.
- On-Demand: The recorded presentation will only be available online in the JMP User Community. They will not deliver a ‘live’ presentation.
You can start rating abstracts as they come in and will be able to rate up until Friday, April 25. As a reminder, Steering Committee members can not submit abstracts.
I've included a video below for those new to the Steering Committee or those that would like a refresher on how to judge abstracts. This was recorded for the US Steering Committee in 2019. If you have questions after watching, please do not hesitate to reach out. I am happy to have a call to review.
Quick question, @KirstenCrannell. I know we can't submit abstracts, but are Steering Committee members allowed to co-present a poster with JMP staff if they ask us? I was asked if I could co-present a poster in Austin, as it's originally from Discovery Europe where another colleague is one of the authors.
