Late last year, we told you we were improving the format and content of the Mastering JMP series to give JMP users the knowledge and skills they need to maximize their JMP experience. Read more about why we made the changes.
The new format has SEs from strategic accounts and TEs from Phil Kay’s team leading core demos. Other SEs assist with Q&A. Recordings, demos, Q&A resources, and related learning materials are still posted to the JMP Community following each webinar.
For some sessions, we will have optional follow-on activities available. Senior Systems Engineer Hyde Miller @HydeMiller already posted one, and the JMP Education Team has offered to create some others.
New format puts everything in one place
Previously, both the upcoming Mastering session registrations and Mastering videos were in the Community. However, users registered from the Community Live Events page and watched the video from the Community Mastering Page. These pages were not linked.
Now, after the webinar, its recording, Q&A, and JMP materials are posted to the registration page, replacing the date of the live webinar. This allows one to see if, for any topic, there is an upcoming live session and/or video (a popular pre-2024 feature of the Mastering JMP page on jmp.com).

Did you know? It’s easy to find Mastering JMP
Finding Mastering JMP and other user learning events in the JMP Community is as simple as a click of your mouse. From the Learn JMP Events page in the Community, use the Filter By section on the right side of the page to narrow down options. You can adjust the Series (in this case, select Mastering JMP) and the Event Status to “In Progress,” “Past,” or “Upcoming.” Once your choices are made, click Apply to see what’s available. You can also filter by analytic capability and language.

Know someone struggling with a specific JMP task? Point them to the Mastering JMP series. From basic data manipulation to advanced statistical modeling, there is likely a session to help.
Here is what one customer said about a recent session:
“Thanks for one of the all-round BEST Mastering JMP sessions I’ve seen! When the link is posted I intend to share the video with all our JMP users because the content is directly applicable to a large portion of what we do with JMP. Today’s Mastering JMP presentation will no doubt get our JMP users to think about the toolbox at their disposal in a different, even more useful light. It may also help us decide how to collect some of our production data with a different focus and in a more useful way. Thank you to both of you for the terrific presentation!”
