In addition to the traditional JMP feature "Decision Tree" (a feature that allows interactive creation of decision trees, primarily using the "Branch" and "Prune" buttons), JMP Pro's Partition platform also offers the ability to automate the tree-building process and create predictive models using relatively new methods such as "Bootstrap Forest , " "Boosting Tree," "K Nearest Neighbor," and "Naive Bayes."
Additionally, JMP Pro provides the ability to split the data based on the value of a validation column.
A value of 0 in the validation column is the "training set," 1 is the "validation set," and 2 is the "test set."
The analysis report provides statistics and graphs for the training, validation, and test sets split by the validation column.
