This guide provides software administrators with instructions for authorizing and managing users of JMP 18 and later. If you are using a version of JMP earlier than 18.0, please refer to the deployment guide for that version. This guide uses the term JMP to refer to JMP, JMP Pro, and JMP Clinical.
Managing Users
Starting with JMP 18, users must be authorized by email address. (Note: "Authorization" means that a software administrator pre-registers users' email addresses in My JMP.) Administrators maintain a list of users authorized by email address in My JMP . When users launch JMP on their PC for the first time, they are prompted to verify their email address and validate JMP. Download JMP as a Software Administrator
Software administrators will receive a notification email with the subject " Your JMP Software is available" and will be directed to My JMP to access JMP. For instructions, see "How to Download JMP - For Software Administrators."
How users access JMP
After a software administrator approves a user's email address, an email from JMP Statistical Discovery LLC ( info@jmp.com ) is automatically sent to each user's approved email address notifying them that they have been granted access to JMP. The email includes the software administrator's name and instructions for downloading JMP .
