The method for changing the display language in JMP differs depending on whether you are using the Windows or Mac version of JMP. We will explain how to change the display language for both the Windows and Mac versions, using the example of changing from Japanese to English.
1. Windows version
- Start JMP and select File > Preferences from the menu.
- The "Preferences" window will open, so select "Windows Only" from the list on the left side of the window.
- Select "English" from the list in the "Display Language" box on the right, and click "OK."
- If the "Language Switch Warning" pop-up appears, click [OK].
- Close JMP and then restart it.
2. Mac version
For the Mac version, you can change the display language by changing the settings on the Mac. Please refer to the Apple macOS User Guide below.

For example, if you want to change the display language of JMP 19 on macOS Sequoia 15 to English, select "macOS Sequoia 15" from "Select a version:" in the "Change your Mac's language" section above, and then follow the instructions under "Select a language for individual apps." In the pop-up window for adding apps, select "JMP 19.app" as the app and "English" as the language. If you have already launched JMP 19, restart it.
