After working as an engineer at a measurement and control manufacturer, he obtained a PhD in Business Administration from Mejiro University's School of Management for his research on statistical quality control. He has used JMP for data analysis for over 20 years, mainly for experimental design and multivariate data analysis. In recent years, data science has been attracting attention in society, but from his experience of practicing data analysis as a former manufacturer, he places importance on the site, actual object, and reality where the data is generated. Information about the site and actual object is important for data cleaning to obtain good data. Coin shooting and paper helicopter teaching materials as real-life teaching materials are also simulations or reproductions of the site and actual object. He then uses JMP to perform highly accurate analysis, which is useful for various improvements and decision-making. Recently, innovation has also become a research theme.
