Junji KishimotoOn April 10, 1989, I attended SUGI (SAS User's Group International) in San Francisco and witnessed John Sall's presentation on JMP. I have been a JMP fan for decades since then. In 1996, when I began teaching statistics at Keio University SFC, JMP-IN (the student version of JMP) was released in February of that year, so I adopted its textbook (JMP Start Statistics). I had all students install JMP-IN on their PCs and began teaching in a hands-on style. In 2006, I moved to Kyushu University School of Medicine. I introduced JMP to the site and use it in biostatistics courses for both undergraduate and graduate students. I also maintain a style of having researchers conduct their own analyses using JMP when providing biostatistical consultations.
