Phylogenetic Tree Analysis Using JMP or JMP Genomics

One of our potential customer wants to know that JMP can perform the analysis of Phylogenetic Tree.

I found that Phylogenetic Tree Analysis is using in Genomics area.

Can JMP or JMP Genomics support this analysis?

Hi @DaeYun_Kim,

Neither JMP nor JMP Genomics can build Phylogenetic Trees.

But there are lots of other on-line tools that do this. Here is a list of free tools.

Looks like the ggtree package in R performs this analysis (https://www.molecularecologist.com/2017/02/phylogenetic-trees-in-r-using-ggtree/). You can use the JMP interface to R to extend JMP’s capabilities and utilize this technique.

This Python framework also provides the capabilities: http://etetoolkit.org/. Similarly you can use the JMP interface to python to reach out to this Python package.
