Strength-Stress (Interference) Reliability Profiler

I've put together an app to do simple interference analysis. It's something I've had customers ask for in the past and exists somewhere in ReliaSoft. Please take a look and let me know what you think. Tell me if you think there's anything that doesn't make sense or would improve its look/feel or utility. I'd like to offer it in the JMP Marketplace. I've attached it as an Add-In and an uncompiled JMPAPPSOURCE. A short usage document is also included.

I have updated the app so the symbols display on both Mac and PC.

Very nice. I think it's useful as is.

Two minor suggestions:

Some of the fancy Greek letters don't show up on my computer, and some of the fonts look weird. I'm on a PC. Perhaps you're on a Mac and it's just Mac/PC things?
Is there a way to get the bottom section into a profiler? That might make it so users could run simulations, find sweet spots, etc.

Yes, probably a Mac/PC issue. I'll see if I can't get the symbols to show up on both. I like the idea of the profiler with simulation. Not sure how hard that would be to implement or the implications/shortcommings of using the Simulator as opposed to doing MCMC.

This is great to hear! Let me fix the symbol display issue. @kristen-slappey should we send this to the customer directly or put it on the Marketplace and have them download it from there? How long does the review processes take?

Hi @DonMcCormack I'll get a submission in the marketplace queue set up for this. Since this is a staff add-in, we'll do a bit of light testing on it to make sure there's no obvious bugs on both Mac & Windows OS before putting this on the Marketplace, and the process can take a bit longer if we find issues. If there's no issues, it's pretty quick.

The add-in works for me. In addition to Jed's comments about the special characters, I have two suggestions:

1) Add your Help document to a Red Triangle or Help button so that users can easily access the info from within the add-in.

2) Consider a way to export the results to a data table. I am not familiar with this type of analysis, so I am not sure if this is necessary. But exporting to a data table would give flexibility on customizing the graph in graph builder or carrying out additional analysis.

Good idea! I can create a table keeping a running tab of the settings and results that can be exported (or saved as a Data Table).
