JMP staff are known for their compassion and focus on philanthropy, and for Giving Tuesday we collectively showed what that means. JMPers from across the globe participated in activities to give back to those in need. See a few of the stories below. If you participated, but don't see your story here, please share it in the comments!
Donating books, changing lives
JMP employees in China teamed up with SAS employees to donate second-hand books to primary and junior schools in remote areas. More than 1,000 books and 300 pieces of stationary were donated to children in remote mountainous regions.

Sharing warmth with those in need
This year, JMPers in Heidelberg collected donations to help people in need get through the winter by supporting the Heidelberg Homeless Assistance in the Karl-Klotz-Haus. They teamed up with SAS Heidelberg to collect warm clothing, blankets, and other survival aids for people in need, especially homeless people.

Baking for a good cause
This year Nina Chan (@nina_chan) was able to join her colleagues to volunteer their time at Seniorenzentrum Rohrbach, which offers senior citizens a place to connect, do sports, play games, make friends, or simply enjoy a warm meal.
"We joined the festive spirit by baking a big batch of cookies for the Christmas party at the Seniorenzentrum Rohrbach," Nina said in her LinkedIn post. "While we were there, we also helped serve a warm lunch."
You can see Nina's LinkedIn post about the event here.

Sponsoring families in need
This year, JMP was able to band together to sponsor several families from the Angel Tree. By supporting these families, we were able to provide much-needed clothing, household items, toys, and other necessities to these families who may have gone without this holiday season.
"Adopting families and individuals in need during the holiday season has been a mission near and dear to our hearts at JMP for the past 15 years," Inside Sales Manager Briana Codd (@Briana_Codd) said. "This year we came together as an organization to make the holidays a little more magical for two Triangle families. It brings me so much joy to help others in need and that was a sentiment echoed in all the participants I chatted with."

Briana Codd, Amy Bullock, and Lori Casto organized donations for two local families.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed to this meaningful effort. Your support will make a real difference in the lives of those in need.
Transitioned the donations Saturday morning. The families were thrilled. Huge thank you to all who helped to make this a special time for families who otherwise would not have celebrated or had necessities.
