Please can we have additional information in the authorised downloads report. I need the version, and the date of downloading. Thanks
Hello - Confirming I'm not able to install JMP17 further.
Only option available is JMP 18. Thanks - Let me know if you need anything else.
Cheers!
Thank you for sharing this feedback!
@Sarah-Sylvestre adding additional insight from P&G:
The request to change would allow designated software administrators access to three data elements for JMP deployments in enterprise environments: user ID, software version, and download date. This metadata is a standard for most third-party software administration and this request is based on P&G IT governance, risk, and compliance requirements for enterprise software. In the absence of being able to use ActiveGroup management, these two additional items are the next best option.
Administrator access to user, version, and download date is essential to evidence who has access, what is installed, and when it entered the P&G environment. Instant access to this from source is the ideal scenario.
We would like to implement a more proactive use of the log to take full advantage of the enterprise licence. To help enable users to “try before buy"
Download date and JMP version information enables proactive upgrade planning, identification of unsupported versions, and to quickly and easily target specific users within the 4000 strong database.
Administrator access to user ID, software version, and download date is a low-risk change that delivers clear governance, and operational benefits for enterprise customers.
