What inspired this Wish List Request?
ISO 5725-2 specifies the statistical methods for determining precision (repeatability and reproducibility) in measurement methods. A key aspect of compliance is the ability to identify outliers in inter-laboratory studies using standardized tests. Currently, JMP does not natively include Cochran's C or Grubbs tests, which are specifically referenced in ISO 5725-2 for identifying outliers. This creates a gap for users who need to comply with these standards, requiring manual workarounds or external tools.

What would the value be to you and/or other users if this new feature is provided?
Implementing these tests would:
- Save significant time for users conducting inter-laboratory studies who currently need to perform these tests manually or use external software.
- Improve ease of use by integrating these capabilities into JMP workflows.
- Enhance JMP’s compliance with international standards (ISO 5725-2), making it more attractive to users in regulated industries like pharmaceuticals

Is this an external customer request?
Yes. This request has been raised by customers in the pharmaceutical (CERBA XPERT) and Environmental (CEREMA) industries, who need a compliant and streamlined way to handle outlier detection per ISO 5725-2. Putting a bump on this one - Just had PPD ask for Grubbs and Dixon Q - both mentioned in the USP - as part of their SOP's and requirements by some of their reviewers. This is in addition to Takeda and Moderna asking for these tests. I have pointed out that scripts exist (below), but they are not allowed to use add-ins as they are not part of JMP's direct quality checks. All three of these strategic accounts have said the only way they can work with them is if they are in the product.
