We all work with people who go above and beyond the normal expectations of the job. These are people who work hard, work smart, and are a pleasure to work with! At JMP, there are a lot of exceptional people who make significant contributions to the bottom line while exemplifying our core values.
Now we have the opportunity to call attention to those superstars – and to celebrate the best of the best. How do you do that? By nominating a peer, a colleague, a boss, or a subordinate for the first-ever JMP Excellence Award.
This program has been designed to recognize the outstanding achievements of JMP employees, and it is up to all of us to nominate our colleagues that we believe rise to this level.
Most employees are eligible, but there are some exceptions. Those with less than a year as a member of the staff, those at director level or above, and those working as contractors or interns are ineligible. And Sales employees are also ineligible because they’re already competing for a spot in the 2024 Elite Sales Circle.
For those of you unfamiliar with the Elite Sales Circle, it’s a place of honor for JMP’s top Sales performers. Each year, members of Sales teams that overachieve targets and outperform others are treated to a trip for two in paradise. The trips are designed to reward hard work, to connect colleagues from different parts of the world, and to nurture friendship among team members. Destinations have included Kauai and Koh Samui, Langkawi and Limerick, Nevis, Whistler, and wherever is next!
For the first time, non-Sales employees will be invited to attend. Just like top Sales performers, each winner of the JMP Excellence Award will receive an invitation for two to go on the May 2025 trip. The location has not yet been announced, but here’s a hint: For now, opportunity abounds; it ends when the circle is full.

Nomination details
Nomination period: Nov. 1-Dec. 6, 2024
Eligibility: Any non-Sales employee on the JMP Performance Bonus Plan, excluding directors and above, is eligible for nomination. Nominees must have at least one year of service at the time of nomination. Note: All JMP employees can nominate, including those ineligible to receive the award.
Criteria: Nominees should be employees who have had a significant impact on attaining the JMP Company Goals for 2024 through exceptional performance, excellent service, outstanding innovation, and daily embodiment of our Company Core Values. Please refer to the Nomination FAQs for further details.

Prizes and recognition
- Number of prize winners: Up to five winners
- Prize: Each winner and guest will receive a JMP Elite Program Award trip
