What inspired this Wish List Request?
Presets capture some formatting but not all of it. Examples of formatting Presets do not capture would be axis min/max ranges, reference lines, and tick increments. This seems to be by design since those formats are data dependent, and Presets are intended to be generalized to be used on other data columns.
However many customers, including Nvidia who inspired this request, are commonly analyzing the same types of datasets repeatedly and as a result, they would want to apply data specific formats in the Preset.
Please describe the new or improved feature or solution you would like to see.
The feature request is to have an option when saving a Preset to make it generalized as it is now, or capture exactly what is represented in the JSL of that report which would include data specific values as mentioned above.
What would the value be to you and/or other users if this new feature is provided?
This option will save the customer time by not having to specify formats manually that the preset does not currently capture.
Is this an external customer request?
Yes, this was requested specifically by Nvidia.
Is there a competitive software package that has this feature or solution that we should be aware of?
No
Will this impact a renewal, expansion, or adoption at a customer, and does this put an account at risk if we do not address this?
No
