Data analysis cases using JMP were mainly provided by the R&D department for new product development in the manufacturing industry or the quality and technology departments of the manufacturing site. However, the various and convenient functions of JMP are widely used in various departments such as marketing, human resources, finance, sales, and service support as well as manufacturing and R&D.
In this presentation, I would like to share a case study on data-based decision making in the B2B sales sector. Salespeople often lack experience or knowledge in statistics or data analysis. However, I would like to share a case study on how they can take decision making and problem solving to the next level by utilizing the various functions of JMP that are easy to use.
The main cases are 1) target customer selection using market map, 2) sales pipeline management and customer analysis, 3) customer purchase pattern analysis using graph builder, 4) KFS (Key Success Factor) selection through machine learning, etc., according to the SSTC strategic selling (Strategic Selling for Target Customer) stage. I think the sales sector case is more meaningful in grafting easy and simple analysis techniques that are necessary for the sales field, rather than using difficult analysis tools.
I hope that in the sales field, there will be many more cases of decision-making using data analysis.
