Earlier this year, SAS introduced the ACT-Now: Accountability through Compliance Training program, which provides well-timed and strategic training bundles assigned with YOU in mind.
Last week, you should have received an email from the SAS Learning Management system (SAS-LMS@sas.com) with a link to the final ACT-Now training for the year. The deadline to complete this training is Nov. 1.
The following courses have been assigned to everyone at SAS:
- Regulating AI: Understanding SAS’ Role: Enhance our Artificial Intelligence (AI) literacy. Explore how governments and regulators address the risks of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Learn how to identify AI technologies, understand their potential risks, and ensure that AI is developed and used safely and ethically.
- Acceptable Use of SAS Systems and Networks: Refresh your knowledge with the Acceptable Use Policy for our systems and technology. This policy outlines the acceptable use of computer equipment and network resources to conduct our business.
The following additional courses will be assigned to a limited audience based on their role:
- Sanctions Training: Learn about sanctions laws and how they apply to our company. This will help you understand the importance of keeping sanctioned or restricted parties from benefiting from our technology and how to communicate effectively with our Legal team to ensure compliance.
- Know Your Customer (KYC) Training: Discover why trade laws require us to conduct KYC diligence before providing our technology to customers. After this course, you will understand your role in this process and whom to contact with any questions or problems.
Each course is designed to be completed in a short amount of time (5-20 minutes), making it easy for everyone to participate and contribute to our collective success.
Refer to the My Learning Dashboard in the Saba Learning Management System (LMS) to check for overdue training assignments from Q1 and Q2 or to see the “Completed Learning” section to launch a refresher of courses you’ve completed.
SAS has an ongoing responsibility to uphold our Code of Ethics, so there will be an encore in 2025, providing relevant compliance training through the ACT-Now program.
